It happens often. I actually decide on the food presentation before I decide on the food preparation. The weekend helped to reinforce this habit. I stopped at Pier 1 Imports on Saturday and stumbled upon the cutest, coloured cups. Purchasing, I thought of all my future food styling attempts and felt quite empowered about the whole thing. Then, on Sunday, shopping mundanely for groceries, the adorable baby utensils that happened to be in exact colours of the cups manifested themselves to me, so I bought these, too. Finally I was starting to get it. The whole Easter scene was materializing before my eyes. I dutifully bought the spoons-forks ensembles and went home to set the Easter preview. Now, if only I knew what to put inside these dishes. Any Easter appetizer or dessert ideas that would nicely fit these vessels?

Zdarza mi się to dość często. Najpierw wybieram naczynia i ustalam prezentację posiłku, zanim wiem co będzie na obiad. Ostatni weekend tylko umocnił ten nawyk. Zakupując je, oczami wyobraźni widziałam wszystkie fotograficzne ujęcia, których te cuda będą udziałem i czułam dumę i zadowolenie z zadania, które stało przede mną. W niedzielę, robiąc powszednie zakupy spożywcze, natknęłam się na dziecięce sztućce, dokładnie w kolorze kubków kupionych dzień wcześniej, więc zakupiłam i te. Teraz, wreszcie rozumiałam – to jest scena wielkanocna która mi się sama prezentuje. Wróciłam do domu czym prędzej, żeby przymierzyć się do tego wielkanocnego ujęcia. Żebym tylko wiedziała co włożyć do tych naczynek gdy nadejdzie Wielkanoc. Czy macie jakieś pomysły na świąteczne przystawki, albo desery?
